We have made it through a whole month of school! We have learned about the routines of being in school and everyone is doing so well! We learned about our families and began our Apple unit. Everyone is playing so well with their peers and has adjusted to Frankie Lemmon amazingly. Here are some pictures from the first month!

We have had a great couple days getting into the swing of things in the Pineapples classroom. Both returning students and new were able to join in the routine and had a great time. On Friday we started our classroom garden. They helped scoop the potting soil and fill the pots with dirt. They worked on using their pointer finger and thump together (pincer grasp) to place carrot and basil seeds in the pots. They will help water these plants and when we can harvest them, they will help create a food dish with them! Ms. Sharon and I are looking forward to a great year with your sweet children!
Have a a wonderful weekend!
Happy fall everyone! We have been having so much fun lately. We have done some really cool cooking activities including cooking gluten free soup INSIDE of a pumpkin and making gluten free pasta salad with fresh basil from our garden. We have brussel sprouts and radishes growing now. We have been exploring centers and learning to play with our friends and have a new friend in our class now! Enjoy the pictures!
Hello families! We have been working hard! We learned about families and apples! We have been learning so much and working on our signs. The kids are loving their friends and making new ones on the playground! Looking forward to learning about bats, spiders and pumpkins next!
On a sad note, our friend Josiah moved away. This means that we will be getting a new friend. We wish Josiah and his family well!
We got into all our normal activities this week. We started movement with Mrs. José, Language Group with Mrs. Hanvey and music therapy with Mrs. Paula. We have loved being with our friends this week and playing with each other.

Our first day started with smiles and hugs and happiness! Everyone ate their meals and played. We all made it to the playground and even had a chance to check out the new sensory garden!
Have a great weekend families and friends! Remember no school on Monday!
